Whenever you're going on a trip, you need to bring your essentials along for the journey. Travel-size toiletries are a must when you're away from home — obviously, bringing all your full-size products just isn't practical or even doable. But this doesn’t mean you can’t bring everything you want.
There are countless travel-size products, from bathing to beauty. You'll never have to be without when you have the mini version of everything. Before you go out of town again, consider what products you can’t live without for even a few days. We have a list of travel-size toiletries you may want to add to your travel bag before your next trip.
1. Beauty Trio Set
The Spongellé Beauty Trio is what you need for your shower routine on the road. The set comes with three body washes infused with refreshing scents. They are accepted on all airlines, and you won't have to worry about anything spilling or breaking.
You only need one Spongetté for vacation or business trips, and you get over five full washes per body wash. You simply moisten the buffer and squeeze it to lather. Massage it over your body using circular motions to clean your skin. You can rinse and squeeze out the excess water after each use. It would also make the perfect gift set for someone that travels often!
All of our buffers are dermatologist tested, vegan friendly, and cruelty-free. They're an all-in-one treatment with yuzu, edelweiss, and vetiver extract.
- Spongology Travel-Sized Buffers
If you just can’t live without a Spongelle buffer, then our Travel Buffers from the Shower With Nature collection are for you. These buffers are all eco-friendly and made with a skin-softening formula of rosehips, green tea, and hibiscus. They use essential oils to transport you to a place of relaxation and rejuvenation whether you’re traveling for business or fun.
For a tropical feel, you can try our Coconut Travel Buffer with strong notes of coconut milk, tonka, and vanilla. For a deeply calming sensation while you shower, we suggest the Lavender Travel Buffer, which has a heavenly mix of rosemary, cardamom, spearmint, lavender, and musk.
If you’re feeling adventurous during your travels and want to try something new, try one of our more unique scents like the Tuberose Travel Buffer. This buffer offers an earthy, floral scent that will help you feel grounded and relaxed, so you can feel well-rested and ready to start your day.
- Men's Buffer
If you can’t live without a body sponge on your travels, try the Spongellé travel sizeMen's Super Buffer. The convenient travel size buffer is ideal for minimizing your travel needs. It will allow you to scrub, cleanse, and hydrate your body. It's the perfect all-in-one shower loofah.
The buffer moisturizes and nourishes your skin for a refreshing clean during your travels. And with the energizing scent of Verbena Absolute, you’ll be ready to go out and greet the day even after a long flight.
For a treatment that’s focused on rejuvenation, use the Men’s Supreme Buffer. It is made with Cedar Absolute and is enriched with black tea and coffee extracts to help your skin feel smooth and restored.
The Men’s Extreme Buffer offers a spicier shower experience with built-in body wash to energize your skin. It has cayenne pepper extract to help boost circulation. Each of these travel size All In One Men’s Treatments can be used for 5+ washes.
- Men’s Mini Super Buffer
If you need an even smaller men's body sponge, try the Men's Mini Super Buffer. The mini travel size buffer is essential when you have limited space in your bag.
The built-in body wash is enriched with a blend ofrefreshing extracts. It has yuzu, edelweiss, and vetiver to nourish the skin. Vetiver is an anti-bacterial shield that helps wash away built-up dirt and pollutants that get stuck in your pores. It's a fantastic natural cleanser that can leave you with a brighter complexion.
- Heart Buffer
Sometimes, not everything goes as planned on a trip. It can be disheartening to realize you left something behind, or your plans got changed. However, nothing lifts the spirits like a shower with one of these revitalizing heart-shaped buffers.
Pamper and refresh yourself with the Proud|Black Orchid Heart Buffer. It is infused with the delicate scents of Orchid Petals, Jasmine, and Bergamont. Use this on your next trip and your travel troubles will melt away and leave your skin feeling soft and relaxed.
Like the other heart buffers that Spongellé offers, the Be Mine|French Lavender Heart Buffer and Beautiful|Voilet Leaf Heart Buffer provide an all-in-one beauty treatment. With a built-in body wash, you can cleanse, exfoliate, massage, and nourish your skin for 5+ washes. These aromatic heart buffers give you the opportunity to experience that “ahhh” spa feeling even while you travel.
- Hand Cream
Whether you're using hand sanitizer, washing your hands a lot, or it's cold where you're traveling, you may experience dryness. Having a moisturizer can save your skin and provide much-needed nourishment. Hand cream is richer than your average body lotion and can lock in moisture.
Try one of Spongellé's signature hand creams, like French Lavender or Honey Blossom. It's formulated to soothe and hydrate your skin. It's enriched with hyaluronic acid, shea butter, argan, and macadamia seed oils, which are great for bringing dry skin back to life.
It comes in a two-ounce tube, so it's perfect for throwing in your carry-on bag and going!
- Hand Defense Sanitizer
Hand sanitizer is a must-have for many people now more than ever, but especially when they travel. You may have just touched a door handle or the buttons on a credit card pin pad and don't have time to go to a sink. Hand sanitizer can be an effective way to kill germs when you can't properly wash your hands.
You may not like hand sanitizer since it often smells like alcohol and can be extremely drying on your skin. However, Hand Defense Sanitizer by Spongellé isn't your typical sanitizer. It's infused with vitamin E and glycerin, which hydrates your skin like a lotion.
The sea salt rose scent disguises the 70% alcohol in the sanitizer that's killing 99.9% of bacteria. It will last your entire trip and beyond with 90+ pumps in the 3.3-ounce container, so it's still small enough to take on a plane!
- Private Reserve Perfume
You obviously can't take your full-size perfume bottles with you when you travel. However, that doesn't mean you have to go without a fragrance when you're away from home. Bring a Spongellé Private Reserve Petite Eau de Toilettes.
It's designed to be sprayed onto your body after you shower. The scent will linger all day. The Peony Flower fragrance has a poetic yet sensual smell with notes of spice, musk, and exotic flowers.
It comes in an easy-to-use portable spray bottle. It's paraben and sulfate-free and will be your new must-have travel product!
- Spongette
Don’t want to leave your favorite Spongellé products at home? Here is everything you love about Spongellé in airline accepted form.
These spongettes are infused with enriched body wash to cleanse your skin and leave it feeling youthful and fresh. A time-release lather allows for thick, creamy swirls of suds while you bathe. However, with these beauties, there’s nothing to spill, break, or leak in your baggage.
All spongettes are cruelty-free, and dermatologist tested for a worry-free beauty experience. They are available in many delightful scents like the Bulgarian Rose Spongette, Fresca Pear Spongette, and the Beach Grass Spongette, so you can relax all throughout your travels.
- Travel Pack*
Everyone needs a toiletry bag to hold all of their personal care products. You also need a separate bag to keep things that get wet, like your buffer. Instead of throwing your buffer or loofah in with your other products, place it in this custom travel bag.
The Spongellé Travel Case is waterproof, so it's perfect for storing your sponge. It fits almost all of the Spongellé body buffers and is easy to fit in your carry-on. The bag is made with a YKK zipper and is reusable.
Travel Tips
Before you go on your next trip, we have a few other travel kit tips and tricks to keep in mind.
Refillable Bottles
You can use refillable travel-size bottles and containers for shampoo, conditioner, other haircare, skincare, sunscreen, styling cream, makeup remover, and any products you may need. You simply squeeze in the amount you will need for the days you are going to be away. When you get back, you can clean out the travel bottles and save them for your next trip.
Forgotten Toiletries
You may inevitably forget to bring one of your toiletries and not realize it until you need it — it’s always the dry shampoo for us. Thankfully, hotels usually have several personal care items on hand.
Even if it's not in your room, you can call the front desk and request complimentary shampoo, conditioner, antiperspirant or deodorant, toothpaste, travel toothbrush, mouthwash, face wash, lotion, razors, and shaving cream. The front desk can also often provide first aid supplies and women’s hygiene products.
Bring Solid Toiletries
There are many items that you can get in solid forms like soap, SPF, and even laundry detergent. They come in small travel-size containers, and they aren't in the TSA liquid category. You can also opt for cleansing towelettes instead of liquid makeup remover. You won't have to worry about them spilling out in your bag and causing a mess.
Keep Toiletries in Clear Bag
Even if all of your liquid toiletries are travel-size products, you may still be stopped at TSA. They may ask you to get them out of your bag so they can examine them. The last thing you want is to have to open up multiple toiletry bags.
Instead, keep all of your liquid products in a clear bag and pack them last so it's at the top of your belongings. This way, if you need to get them out, they are all in one place and easy to access.
Ready to Board
Packing for a getaway can feel overwhelming, and it can be easy to forget items. However, if you put together your travel toiletries beforehand, it will be a lot less stressful to pick up and go anytime. Spongellé has several travel-friendly products that you'll love!
